Pretty in Pink

My new obsession. Pink Rooms. Well, I am obsessed with the idea of selling my husband on a primarily pink room. Ladies, he-is-not-havin-it. The room in question is our formal dining room which we are currently using to store accessories and furnishings we find while out there shopping for clients.

Since I am not a fan of the not-so-used formal dining room, I want to turn the space into a reading room. This will be filled with bookshelves (built-ins if I can afford it.) and art. I envision 2 wingback chairs and a marble entryway table in the center, and a show stopping chandelier. Not to forget my splashes of pink in either the wing-backs or haute pink on the walls, with a softer pink on the ceiling.

Sigh.

  1. Slowly bringing in pink thru chairs, curtains, art and accessories would probably go over better than pink walls and ceiling no matter how flattering you look in it. πŸ™‚ Good luck on your new project, sounds fabulous!
